With this in mind, we've rolled out a series of enhancements under the 'Transact' feature, making it easier than ever to manage your money on Fingo.

A Cleaner Home Screen

Firstly, we've decluttered your home screen. By reducing the number of shortcuts from eight to four (Save Up, Buy Airtime, Account Details, and More), we've created a more organized space that allows for quick access to your most-used features. This change means less time searching and more time doing.

Intuitive Icons

Say goodbye to complex illustrations and hello to crisp, clear icons. Our redesigned icons are not just visually appealing but also intuitively designed to ensure you recognize the available options at a glance. This means faster navigation through the app’s essential functions.

The 'Transact' Button

The centerpiece of our update is the new 'Transact' button located on the navigation bar. A single tap pulls up a modal with three straightforward options: Send, Buy Goods/Pay Bills, and Request. This consolidation of transaction-related functions into one accessible spot is a game-changer for efficiency.

Unified Transactions

We've also improved how you view your transactions. By eliminating the Money Chat section from the homescreen, all transactions, including requests, are now neatly listed under the Recent Transactions section on the home screen. This unified view means you can track your money flow in one place.

Enhanced Sending Experience

Inside Send, you'll notice the search bar is now front and center, making it quicker to find and select a recipient. We've introduced a 'Suggested' section that highlights favorite and recent beneficiaries, along with a list of your Fingo friends, all aimed at expediting the sending process.

The long-press interaction is another addition that lets you save, edit, and unsave a beneficiary as a favorite with ease.

Sending to a Fingo friend? We've smoothed out the process, allowing you to add gifs and notes seamlessly, enhancing the interaction and personalising your transactions.

Optimized Buying and Bill Payments

The 'Buy Goods/Pay Bills' section isn't left out. We've incorporated a 'Suggested' section here too, listing the most frequently used Pay Bill options by our users, making it faster to navigate through routine payments.

Versatile Request Options

The 'Request' function follows the same user-friendly approach. Whether you're requesting money from a Fingo friend or anyone else, it's now incredibly straightforward. Share a unique payment link, or use your QR code for quick transactions, especially when you're in the same physical space.

Moreover, you can now request your salary through the app, simply by upgrading your account limit with your KRA Pin.

A Unified QR Experience

We've made transacting between Fingo users seamless. Send or request money using a Fingo tag, name, phone number, or by scanning a QR code. The QR code button is conveniently located in both homescreen and the search, enhancing physical-space transactions.
